About Our School
At Oranday Bros Jiu-Jitsu, we believe martial arts training is about more than just learning techniques – it’s about developing discipline, respect, and a champion mindset. Established in 2016 by the Oranday Family, brothers Damion and Austin Oranday set out to create an academy and culture that reflected their passion for world-class training and their commitment to building a welcoming, family-oriented environment.
From the very beginning, Damion and Austin – high-level competitors at just 18 and 17 years old – focused on helping students of all ages grow both on and off the mats. Today, Oranday Bros Jiu-Jitsu has grown into the premier training center, with multiple locations, for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts in Southeast Texas.
With world-class instructors and an unmatched commitment to helping every student progress and achieve their goals, our academy is a place where hard work, focus, and camaraderie come together. Family is very important to us. That’s probably because we are family! Our martial arts academy is run by Damian Oranday with help from his sister and others. This allows us to understand the perspectives of families training together and make the experience great for everyone!
Are you looking to become a pro fighter in MMA or BJJ? This is the perfect place to prepare for that! At Oranday Bros Jiu Jitsu Mid County, we have the expertise to guide your training to start your journey to being one of the best fighters in the world!
Our instructors each bring their own experiences to the mats. We have black belts, purple belts, lifelong martial artists, newcomers, and even experience in Brazil. There is always a coach with a different perspective to help you!
We know life is stressful. That’s why our MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu lessons aren’t. In fact, we make sure your training is a great way to take a break from life’s anxieties and to focus on yourself.
We want you and all our students to learn from the very best. This includes our high-level seminars from 9-time World Champion, Lucas Lepri. Lepri comes in yearly to help students and share his perspective on how to rise to the top of the Jiu Jitsu world.
